Princess On Ice: All Songs Gameplay (Hard)

Unlike Rockin' Pretty, I'm just lumping all the game's songs into one video because they don't have multiple instrument charts or anything. I could throw in gameplay of the easy and normal difficulties too, but I don't think it's worth showing off that much. Well, in terms of gameplay Princess on Ice is one of many Ouendan/EBA clones on the DS, and unfortunately like pretty much all those other clones it's not very good. The review of the game I mentioned in the last video goes into more depth on how it's played, so here it is again: https://thegamehoard.com/2018/11/27/p... Overall, I don't really dig this game as much as Rockin' Pretty as this is the inferior game in pretty much every aspect; the gameplay's not as polished, the soundtrack just consists of public domain classical songs which isn't as interesting as RP's original music (sorry, I'm not an intellectual. I guess some classical music can be kind of a bop though) and it doesn't have as much fascinating regional differences between versions to dive into. However, there is one more thing I wanted to mention: Just about every source I've seen accuses the American/European release of the game as being an Americanization of the Japanese version, but if the release dates listed on The Cutting Room Floor are to be believed, this game actually came out first in Australia and Europe in April 2008, followed by the North American release in November, and THEN it came to Japan in December with an anime reskin to appeal more to the Japanese market; not the other way around. Also since this was developed by Arc System Works, I guess they originally developed this for the Western market before bringing it to Japan. So, there you go. I might do another video sometime showing off the story in the Japanese version, although outside of the different sprites the most noteworthy thing would be the different ending CGs. I'll look into it further to see if it's worth documenting here.
