Hi Beauties 👋 On today’s menu, we have a bucket of powdery slabs & reform blocks mixed with some lush chunks of BSN. The whole thing was like BUTTA - I played in the powder for approx. 84 years 😉 I included some extended powder play….well, mainly because I love it. I love to watch it, do it, edit it, etc. Where are my powder play lovers at??? I have a few powder play comps that I’ve started to put together & just haven’t gotten around to posting. To me, they are the ultimate sleep aid so I’ll throw one out here soon for anyone who would enjoy 💗💗 So I’m on vacation-ish this week and now that I’ve emerged from the worst of my surgery recovery, I made the mistake of checking a few emails today to stay caught up on things. My relaxed, sleepy mood quickly….ok, immediately….turned to frustration over a few seemingly stupid issues. I could feel my blood pressure rising & my mind drifting to less than positive thoughts. And, because I had the capability and the opportunity today….and am caught up on sleep for the first time in years…., I recognized it quickly, tossed my phone on the table and walked away. And I said out loud to myself the words of my amazing Grandma Fran - “No one can steal your joy without your permission.” I took a deep breath, refused to give permission to the annoyances of the morning and had an otherwise stress-free day. It felt SO GOOD to have that pep-talk with myself and to not allow life’s stressors to take root in my mind & disturb my peace. Just wanted to share this with you, my beautiful friends, because you are equally worthy of peace and happiness - every day. Do not give permission to anything/anyone to rob you of the blessings & happiness that are in front of you. Life is too short & you are too gorgeous to allow anything to dull that ✨SPARKLE✨.
