This instructional video created by the Learning Disabilities Association of Colorado (2008) in partnership with Denver Academy, for teachers, administrators and parents, takes a fresh look at what learning can look like for students diagnosed with learning disabilities. Instead of asking 'how smart a student is' start by inquiring how is the student smart. How can differentiating my instruction, my language and even my mindset help create a transformative experience for that student?
