RDR2 MILITARY MOUNTIE HAT and Owl Feather Trinket (MISSABLE TRINKET) available at Chapter VI, The Military Mountie Hat can only be found during Chapter VI, mission: Archeology For Beginners. In this mission make your way down toward the army camp at the foot of the mountain. Your objective is to retrieve the Chanupa and the sacred items that lie on the ground, in the middle of the camp, next to the cooking pot. I strongly recommend that you avoid fatalities, as completing this objective without bloodshed leads to a valuable reward. Wait until the guard that patrols around the entire camp moves to the opposite side, crouch-walk and lasso the guard to steal his Military Mountie Hat, then pick up the objective items, retrace your steps and leave the area. Return to Rains Fall at the top of the mountain. If you didn't kill any of the guards, the elder rewards you with the Owl Feather Trinket, a powerful item that permanently reduces the drain speed of all your cores by 15%. OR, there is another way to get the Military Mountie Hat but this involves into losing much honor. Go steal a stagecoach and jump over the Fort Wallace walls. I strongly recommend to steal a stagecoach at Hill Haven Ranch. Those stagecoaches are having a tall flat roof to jump on (I've tried other stagecoaches but without any success) once you've found the stagecoach, make your way to Fort Wallace and jump over the right wooden wall and start killing all the NPC soldiers.
