He would prove God wrong and earn his way back into heaven. In search of subjects, Atsuomi was able to manipulate a couple, named Gorou and Miki, to have a child. Once the child was born, Atsuomi managed to manipulate Miki into giving away her son, who was named Issei. Issei would go on to become the ideal subject. The only success of Atsuomi’s project, dubbed the ‘White Room’. Issei became known as the Masterpiece of the White Room, or the Demon of the 4th Generation. 11 years later, after a trip to New York, to be shown off to random people like a circus animal, Issei began to think about freedom., seeking to free himself from the binds of Atsuomi and the White Room. A few years later, Issei would get his opportunity. After the White Room had been shut down for a year, Issei had found a file… noting the existence of the city of Kuoh. After speaking to his caretaker, a man named Matsuo, Issei made the decision to leave and run to Kuoh, hoping that Atsuomi wouldn’t follow him. After enrolling in Kuoh Academy, things began to go awry. It was as if there was a new player in a city that was barely maintaining it’s fragile balance.
