"Azure Rathalos" is a Flying Wyvern and a subspecies of Rathalos, first introduced in Monster Hunter G. It has enhanced stamina, health, and attack power, making it considerably more aggressive. As a true flying wyvern, the Azure Rathalos combines cunning, speed, and strength, allowing it to effectively hunt threats or prey. It usually avoids confronting larger creatures outside its territory. Its powerful wings enable longer flights and stronger attacks, using both fire breath and poisonous claws. Aggression is especially high during mating season, resulting in increased territorial disputes and competition for hunting grounds. The Azure Rathalos is primarily found in the Forest and Hills, but it can also be encountered in Volcanic Areas.
