In every iteration of #LordOfTheDance across its twenty-five-year history, the second act kicks into high gear with Dangerous Game. Planet Ireland and everyone in it is the Little Spirit's dream, but now her creations have risen up against her. Her magic flute is broken by the Dark Lord -- and it seems a worse fate is about to befall her personally as well. If you pay attention to the story structure of Lord of the Dance, you'll notice the first act is almost entirely expository. The first half sets up five main characters and their respective factions; the second half then pays it all off. And at the end of Dangerous Game, we're thrown right into the deep end as the Lord and Dark Lord finally square off with their clans. Planet Ireland is out of control; the Little Spirit's creations have taken on a life of their own, and the dream has become a nightmare.
