This Isn't Your Typical Jeep Wrangler Axle Swap!!

The JK Wrangler Dynatrac 44 is soooo close to being finished up under my 2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ Unlimited (LJ)!! For those of you that have been following along, i am doing a JK to Tj axle swap. The front axle presented some issues that we pointed out in the last video. We decided to get some custom length control arms from Clayton Offroad. https://www.claytonoffroad.com/ Clayton Offroad has been making top quality Jeep products for years, and it was awesome to find out that they care enough to help out with peoples custom projects! I got a set of their "Pro Series" arms that were custom made to our stretched front end length. These arms are not only a big upgrade from factory, but they are also alot stronger than some other aftermarket options. For the custom trackbar mount and draglink, all the parts were from Barnes4wd. https://www.barnes4wd.com/Jeep-TJ-Fro... https://www.barnes4wd.com/Heim-Joints... I forgot to mention that Ben has a discount code to share with you guys, JKgear. Hopefully that code will help some of you out with any Jeep projects you have planned. Now, i forgot to talk about the longer pitman arm we got. I will try to go over that in the next video. But short and sweet, to keep the full turning radius with the new axle we needed a longer pitman arm to help with the steering throw. A Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ pitman arm is about 1/2" longer, and bolts right up to the TJ steering gear box. This is perfect to help keep the full steering. here is a link: https://amzn.to/2R2BBeG So as you can tell, this axle swap is coming along nice!! Yes its been alot of work, and i know its going to be well worth the work in the end. We will have super strong axles, 5.13 gears, and front and rear lockers, this thing will be a beast offroad!! Thank you for watching, and in the next video we are going to finish up the front axle and start diving into the Rear rubicon 44!!!
