It is just a large capital letter at the beginning of the paragraph, section, or chapter. Drop caps are commonly found and used in books, magazines, newspapers, and more. Drop caps is just a decorative element, they serve as a visual cue to mark the beginning of a new paragraph, section, or chapter, making the text more visually appealing and engaging for readers.
