But the other steps didn't help and my computer screen still wont work. A: If it displays to an external display, that means the issue is most likely the LCD Cable or the LCD itself. Try 'reseating' the cable first. That means, unplug it at both ends and plug it back in, making sure its not lose. If that fails to help, replace the Cable and the LCD one at a time. Q: I tried the steps with no luck. Wasn't the RAM and I couldn't get the computer to display to an external monitor. What now? A: If the steps in this video did not identify the issue and you could not get the computer to display to an external monitor, then your most likely looking at a motherboard issue.
