s03e07 As you might have seen in the unboxing video, I got a new gadget for my boat. It might seem like an unnecessary overkill for a trailer boat, but I can assure you that it is not. If you do much boating by yourself then you know how difficult it can be to control the boat while you are dealing with crab pots, fish, etc. Looking after driving the boat while I keep a lookout for obstacles and other traffic and deal with crab pots, fishing lines and landing fish is just one use. Combined with my Raymarine MFD the autopilot will position me precisely over the structure I want to fish. If I don’t know precisely where that structure is then I can set up an automatic search pattern to find it. There will be 2 parts to the installation video and I will do another one to demonstrate it on the water after I have had a bit of practice using it with the MFD.
