This webinar explores The Los Angeles Conservancy’s history and work to raise awareness of historic places in LA County, prevent their needless demolition, empower people to save the places they love, and foster strong preservation laws and incentives. What began as a volunteer group in 1978 now has nearly 5,000 member households, the largest membership of any local preservation organization in the United States! This presentation for the DC Preservation League was led by Linda Dishman, President and CEO of the LA Conservancy.
