The move takes too long for her to deal damage with it, removing Substitute Mark immediately, and also wasting other durations/timers. If you do it too early, you'll miss a damage tick from the spin. If you do it late, you will proc a Time fracture from her which is a bad thing at 0:56 (Delaying the Whale's preparation for the Dive attack) and 1:28 (Procing Sena's qte). Not sure if the latter is a bug because that time fracture lasts 2s, which should be from the bomb attack if you let Teri perform it when the yellow bar is depleted. Trying to gather the mobs at the start with Thelema's ground tap weap is annoying, doing the cancel while getting all the spin damage uninterrupted requires precision to make this work. You can delay using Ult and save it till you re-apply Subsitute Mark in cases like 1:24 for it to be able to deal max damage, to refresh the "Working" buff duration from Teri's 3pc stig effect if you badly need more damage.
