As Long As You're Here (Young Royals Remix) | Low-key Moyka Synth Cover (Instrumental)

Hello! This cover is a little different, as I decided to do it without a DAW, and set up a little synth rig on my bed for a stripped down version of Moyka's 'As Long As You're Here (Young Royals Remix)' :) Everything you hear is being done here, made by my two synthesisers and drum machine - no computer, just internal sequences! Best in headphones or on proper speakers, of course! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For the nerds: The small synth is the Roland JU-06A (a modern 'Boutique' version of the Juno-60 and Juno-106), which is playing off the inbuilt step sequencer throughout the song My drum machine is a Roland TR-8S. The sounds I'm using are all internal presets and samples that come with the unit, and MIDI clock is synced with the JU-06A to ensure the drums stay in time! Where you see me starting the drum machine at the start, it is on an empty pattern, but I'm using it as a MIDI clock - this is the only MIDI used here! The keyboard synth is the Prophet Rev2, which is bi-timbral - I'm playing the lead with one hand, and the bass with the other, both of which are patches I made from scratch. As always, mixed live (the JU-06A's reverb is coming from my mixer) and I added a tiny bit of mastering afterwards to make it sound a little more professional I hope you enjoy it :)
