Woodbury's path to the section 4AAAA final at Hastings High School hasn't been easy, winning a pair of nail-biters in the first two rounds, but Fairfield recruit Rachel Hakes has a takeover gene that can take Woodbury virtually anywhere. Cretin-Derham Hall's team may have the most Division One junior college prospects of any school, but with three 1,000-point scorers, their depth and speed propelled them to a Suburban East Conference title, and folks like Frannie Hottinger would like to add a section title to the hardware case.
