Meet Miko Simangan, a multi-passionate creative. As one of the Co-founders of Clean Beach Coffee, a specialty coffee shop in La Union, Miko is dedicated to championing sustainability in the coffee industry through eco-friendly practices. With 16 years of experience as a coffee professional, he currently serves as the head coffee roaster and barista trainer for YKW Coffee Roasters Manila, where he mentors new baristas and contributes to cafe setups across the Philippines. Throughout his career, Miko has actively competed in national and international barista championships, showcasing his expertise and passion for coffee. He competed twice in the ASEAN Barista Team Championship and applied for Coffee Masters multiple times, making it to the final 16 in 2020 before the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
