Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre Walking Tour. The annual Worcester Christmas Market took place this year between the 2nd & 5th Dec 2021. It was started back in 1992 by traders in New St & Friar St. with Victorian themed characters, street food, entertainment & a festive atmosphere. This year 200 stalls were scattered across the city, selling local arts & crafts - ideal gifts for the Xmas season - and food & drinks. Street entertainment was also on the menu, with in particularly talented musicians playing on stage in Cathedral Square (High St) opposite the medieval Worcester Cathedral. Worcester is a Cathedral & University City with a rich history & beautiful architecture and vibrant High Street County town of Worcestershire in the West Midlands, 30 miles south-west of Birmingham.
