“Drive Like Your Family Lives Here” tells the stories of five families who have been devastated by traffic tragedy. This Vision Zero-inspired film, presented by the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC), NYC Department of Transportation (DOT), the New York City Police Department (NYPD) and traffic safety advocates Families for Safe Streets and Transportation Alternatives will, among other uses, be integrated into driver training programs for prospective taxi drivers. While taxi driver training was the film’s initial purpose, the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) and the NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) have both already committed to using it in their driving training programs, and other uses are in development. We encourage you to take this film’s message to heart and drive like your family lives here.
