Fact about Arizona Snowbowl skiing How many ski runs does Snowbowl have? Arizona Snowbowl offers 55 trails. Eight lifts service the trails for skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels, including Arizona's first and only gondola. How high is the ski lift at Snowbowl? 11,500 feet The lift-served summit, at 11,500 feet (3,505 m), yields a 2,300-foot (700 m) vertical drop, the largest in Arizona. It is served by two lodges, Hart Prairie Lodge and Agassiz Lodge, and six chairlifts, including one high-speed detachable chairlift and one high-speed gondola/chair hybrid lift. Does Snowbowl make snow? Snowmaking creates artificial snow in addition to Arizona Snowbowl's natural snowfall, allowing for a more consistent ski and snowboarding season. The Arizona Snowbowl receives, on average, 260 inches of snow every year. When was Snowbowl built?
