Meet Waheed: Born in Afghanistan, Waheed immigrated to the United States in his early teens. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Premedical Studies, then worked as a senior research technician in the Department of Mucosal Immunology at Massachusetts General Hospital, contributing to numerous research publications. Motivated to use his education for the betterment of his community, Waheed pursued further studies in Medicine, earning a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and a Master of Public Health from Touro University. Currently residing in California, he works with underserved populations in Sacramento. Waheed is also a proud father of two and a dedicated husband.
