lo-fi ambient tape loop experiment called "deep thinking" is a track with usage of Alessandro Cortini’s technique. On the normal cassette I recorded four tracks with 40 seconds long loops prepared earlier in Ableton Live. Music was recorded on 9.5 speed and performed on 4.5 with -10 pitch. This resulted in nice slow textures. I imagine my self sitting on the armchair where I just finished chapter in the book and start thinking about what I read. My favourite relaxation moments. Accompanied by this music. Performed live with Tascam M 08 and Yamaha mt120s. Mixed with Boss Space Echo and TC Electronics Hall Of Fame. Project created from the need of exploring further different techniques of composing and performing ambient music. Temporary escape from DAW and eurorack environment in favour of using multitrack recording machines, tape players, guitar pedals, children music toys and self made endless tape loops.
