So, Dear learners you should watch this video to do strong your Ratio and Proportion topic. This video is specially dedicated for RRB NTPC 2024. A ratio is a comparison of two quantities. A proportion is an equality of two ratios. We use ratios to make comparisons between two things. When we express ratios in words, we use the word "to" - we say "the ratio of something to something else" - for example, the ratio of squares to triangles in the illustration below. Ratios can be written in several different ways. A proportion is simply a statement that two ratios are equal. It can be written in two ways: as two equal fractions a/b = c/d; or using a colon, a:b = c:d. The following proportion is read as "twenty is to twenty-five as four is to five." In problems involving proportions, we can use cross products to test whether two ratios are equal and form a proportion. To find the cross products of a proportion, we multiply the outer terms, called the extremes, and the middle terms, called the means. Here, 20 and 5 are the extremes, and 25 and 4 are the means. Since the cross products are both equal to one hundred, we know that these ratios are equal and that this is a true proportion.#ntpc #rrb #rajeevsir #maths #ratioandproportion #upconstable #re-exam #mathsanalysis #upconstable #re-exam #upconstable #re-exam #maths #upconstable #re-exam #maths #rpfconstable #rpfexam #mathsconcept #entranceexams #rpfexam #rpfsi #rpf_new_vacancy_2024 #rpfconstablegkgs #rpfbharti #competitiveexams #rajeevsir #rajeevyadav #uppolice #upconstable #upsi #constable #onlineeducation #onlineclasses #onlinestudy #online #study #mathsstrategy #mathsclass #mathseducaton #mathsstudy #mathsteacher #mathskills #governmentjobs #governmentjobexam #army #navy #ssc #ssccpo #sscchsl #ssccgl #sscmts #sscmaths #sscgd2024 #sscgd
