The Four Types of Emotional Immaturity

*The Four Types of Emotional Immaturity* Book mentioned in video: https://amzn.to/3OdOzCP I highly recommend getting a copy of "Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents" to flesh out the ideas behind this YouTube video. This video covers the 4 common types of emotional immaturity. Emotional Immaturity is an umbrella term used to describe someone with low emotional intelligence (EQ). People who are emotionally immature tend to struggle with selfishness and empathy. Children raised in these environments can struggle with feelings of guilt and shame later on in life. They also tend to be drawn to partners with emotionally immature behaviors due to the feeling of familiarity. Types of emotional immaturity: 1) Emotional Person: These people feel unpredictable. Family members often feel like they have to walk on egg shells around this person. 2) Driven Person: Perfectionistic and goal oriented. 3) The Passive Person: Appears to be open and nice. Often shuts down and avoids emotional situations and feelings 4) The Rejecting Person: Often feels others are a bother and a nuisance. Very low in empathy and can exhibit anti social behaviors are the severe end of the spectrum. *SUBSCRIBE* I release new videos every week!
