Here is a review of the superb Wild Country Helm 1 backpacking tent. This solo backpacking tent is perfectly suited to wild camping in the UK. The Wild Country Helm Compact 1 tent also has a small pack size and weighs just under 2kg. It's reasonably spacious for a 1 person tent.
