Farmers have five different herbicide tolerant packages to pick from in soybean with a sixth option likely arriving in 2021. While the majority of these soybean packages are tolerant to glyphosate or Roundup, they vary in their tolerances to glufosinate (Liberty), 2,4-D and dicamba. When an applicator is switching from one field to another it is crucial to understand spray tank and boom hygiene and the differences in soybean tolerances.
