Coding Carrera Slot Cars Without the Control Unit – Alternate Programming for Carrera D132

Carrera digital slot cars can be coded, or programmed using the digital control unit. There are three features that can be programmed using the race controller only. Those features are assigning a car to a controller, setting up a ghost/autonomous car, and setting up a pace/safety car. This alternate programming/coding method can be performed anywhere on the track and with other cars on the track at the same time without changing the existing programming on those other cars. This video demonstrates the alternate procedure for those for those three features, and explains how the alternate programming procedure can come in handy under some conditions.
