In 1995 the sequel to the original The King of Fighters '94 hit the arcades in London, and man was this an update. The King of Fighters '95 sported faster game-play, team edit mode allowing you to choose fighters that fit your play-style, The reveal of Kyo Kusanagi's father Saisyu Kusanagi and a whole array of new moves and combos for the established characters. Whilst Rugal is not as difficult to defeat as his '94 counterpart he sure looks the business with his terminator-esque robotic arm and red cyborg eye. I would go as far to say this is one of the most difficult fighting games to 1cc on the default difficulty setting, but I had a lot of fun revisiting this gem of a game and remembering how to play it properly again. The King of Fighters '95 is my rose tinted 'jewel in the crown' of SNK fighting games.
