Reimu was alarmed when she noticed the flowers everywhere and quickly went out looking for answers, thinking that not only was it her duty but that if she didn't people might think she was neglectful. Time for both a genre shift while also being one hell of a nostalgia trip. Touhou 9 Phantasmagoria of Flower View is a modern re-imagining of Touhou 3 Phantasmagoria of Dim. Dream. With that in mind even though this game does still have spell cards in them the challenge still is not strategic rather still hectic twitch dodging. The first 5 stages are easy enough, you should be able to beat them with little problem...however 6-9 are...bizarrely unfair, in that it just feels like the computer is a cheating bastard. You will die at least once in each stage no matter how long you last it seems but as soon as you die the boss then is stupidly easy...With the exception of Shikieiki though... Reimu is your average character and is good for beginners. She isn't the slowest or the fastest character (Though there isn't much slower than her) and her skills are largely defensive in nature. First of all her special is that she has a smaller than normal hitbox and that alone greatly helps you get used to bullet grazing. Her charge shot will attack anything on the screen while her scope simply goes around her activating any spirits close by. Her charge speed is also very fast allowing you to easily counter boss attacks as needed.
