Curd Dosa is an ideal breakfast recipe which is an easy dosa which is very spongy and soft texture. Here very less urad dal is used and curd is used to grind the batter which also helps to incorporate sourness in the batter in addition to the usual fermentation process. Preparation Time: 8 – 10 hours Cooking Time: 15 mins Servings: 10 For Dosa Batter: 3 cups Dosa Rice ½ cup Urad Dal ¼ cup Fenugreek (Methi seeds) ½ cup Thick Poha Other Ingredients: Salt to taste Oil for roasting • In a large bowl, take all the ingredients mentioned above (listed under dosa batter) and wash well in water. • Soak them in curd for atleast 6 hours. • Blend the soaked ingredients by adding water as required. • Transfer the batter to a large bowl. • Mix well making sure the batter has combined completely. • Cover and ferment in a warm place for 8- 12 hours or overnight. • Mix the fermented batter and add salt as per taste. • Heat the dosa pan and pour a ladleful of the batter on it and spread it very gently. • Spread a tablespoon of oil around the dosa and cook on a low flame. • Once it turns golden brown, serve hot with Tomato/ onion/ peanut chutney.
