Kampong Ayer is located in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital city of Brunei Darussalam, which is located on the island of Borneo in South-East Asia. Kampong Ayer is located on the Brunei river. All of the houses here are built on stilts. Kampong Ayer is a fascinating place, and one of the most interesting places I have ever been. 13,000 people live there, making it the biggest water village in the world.
