I'm moving to Reverse 1999 now! So far, I love the execution of the high concept, and the little bits of the show don't tell in a lot of different places. Love the British voice acting and ACTUAL PROTAGONIST WITH VOICE ACTING?! Sign me up! Vertin's voice actor does a great job of conveying the losses she experienced in her job. But I can't help but feel the story feels disjointed at times. Some scenes are not connected well to the next scene, which led me to question several times like "Wait, what's happening now? Why are we here?" Then the story feels rather monotone at times. There's not enough emphasis when certain moments are happening. The character doesn't seem upset when some random NPC gets killed. They just moved on to the next scene. So, I guess it's some pacing issues. But again, no dealbreakers so far. None of the tropes are upsetting. Plus, I am quite hooked by the artstyle and the interesting game-jam-like combat mechanic. Also got that limited robot girl in the first 10 pulls.
