झणझणीत मिसळ पाव | Kolhapuri Misal Pav Recipe from Swapna's Cookbook Kolhapuri Misal pav is very famous Maharashtrian street food.You can have it as breakfast, Lunch or Brunch. Main ingredient is Sprouted Moth(Mataki). Let's prepare Misal and enjoy it With pav. #Misalpav #मिसळपाव #swapnakokad Ingredients: Step 1 : For Sprout Usal: 250 gm Sprouted (Mataki) Moth 1 Big Chopped Onion 1 Big Chopped Tomato Oil Method: Heat oil in pan. Splutter Mustard and Jeera. Add Chopped Onion,Curry leaves. Saute it. Add chopped Tomato. Red chilli powder,Turmeric powder,Salt and Water. Close the lid of cooker. Make 2 whistles. Keep aside. Step 2: For Misal masala: 4 small Onions chopped 1/2 Cup Dry Coconut Powder Garlic Ginger 4 Tbsp Dry Coriander seeds 1 Big Bay leaf 2 Tbsp Sesame seeds(Til) 1/2 Tbsp Poppy seeds 2 Tbsp Cumin seeds(Jeera) 1/2 Tsp Turmeric powder 4-5 Cloves 2 Cardamom 5 to 6 Black pepper 1/4 Tsp Fenugreek seeds(Methi seeds) Hing Dry Red Chillies Salt Oil Javitri Method: In the pan add coriander seeds, bay leaf, sesame seeds, cumin seeds, poppy seeds, turmeric powder, cloves, cardamom, javitri, black pepper, fenugreek seeds, dry red chilies , Hing . Roast everything well for few minutes. Keep aside and let it cool. In a pan heat some oil. Add onions, dry coconut, ginger & garlic. Roast everything well for few minutes. Let it cool down. In a mixer grinder add the cooled down Dry mixture and grind everything to a powder. Add onion mixture & grind it coarsely. Kolhapuri Misal Masala is ready to use. Step 3: For Dry potato curry: Boiled Potatoes Chopped Onion Green Chilli Turmeric powder Curry leaves Oil Salt Mustard and Jeera Method: Heat Oil in pan add Mustard and Jeera. Add chopped Onion ,Curry leaves and Green Chilli saute it. Add Turmeric ans salt. Add Boiled Potato. Aaloo curry is done. Step 4: For Poha: Soaked and drained poha Chopped Onion Green Chilli Curry leaves Groundnuts Turmeric powder Salt Lemon juice Mustard ,Jeera Oil Method: Heat Oil. Crackle Mustard and Jeera. Add Chopped Onion,Curry leaves,Green Chillies. Saute it. Add Turmeric powder,Salt and Lemon juice. Mix well. Add soaked and drained poha. Mix well. Poha is ready. Step 5: For (Tarri) Gravy: Oil Tomato puree Red chilli powder Jeera powder Coriander powder Salt Water Curry leaves Method: Heat Oil. Splutter Jeera and Mustard. Add Curry leaves and Tomato puree. stir well. Add Misal masala made. Mix well. Red Chilli powder,Jeera powder and Coriander powder Salt and Water. Mix well. Step 6: Serving: Take bowl. First take Dry Potato curry. Add poha,Sprout Usal,Gravy,Mixture (Farsan),Chopped Onion and Coriander. Garnish with Slice of Lemon.
