MY BEST PLACES TO EAT IN BALI (2019)

Best places to eat in Bali!!! Bali, Indonesia is foodie heaven. And in this vlog, I show you our favourite places to eat from during our two-month stay here. Please let me know in the comments what are your favourite dishes I tried! First up was eating at our favourite restaurant in Bali. Warung Sabik Saih. And of course, we couldn’t get any meal in Bali started without drinking a famous Bintang beer. We tried the dishes: Ayam bakar, bihun goreng, terong goreng and tahu and tempe. Ayam Bakar means grilled Chicken: Usually, this Chicken is marinated with a mixture of spice pastes, sweet soy sauce, and then grilled. Bihun Goreng: Is fried vermicelli noodles. This is a popular Asian dish in general. And it has some chicken pieces, carrots, morning glory, and cabbage in this bihun Goreng. Tahu and tempeh: This is fried tofu and tempeh. So tempeh is a traditional Indonesian product, and it is made from fermented soybeans just like tofu, except for it is made differently so has more of an oaty texture to it. And next up is another one of our favourites here in Bali and surprisingly enough it’s located down quite a busy, touristy street in Ubud. Dewa Warung!!! We always get the same dishes since we come here all the time: Sweet potatoes and Nasi Campur. Nasi Campur in Indonesian means ‘mixed rice’. So typically this dish comes with a scoop of rice “Nasi Putih”. So as you can see here at Dewa the Nasi Campur includes a small portion of fried chicken, two satay, tempeh sticks, spinach with coconut shavings, tofu, and tempeh covered in a homemade tomato sauce. The mix of different foods on your plate can all depend on the warung you go to, which is what makes this dish so exciting!
