Team Key West in Key Largo - Florida Skiff Challenge 2021

This video was taken during the 2021 Florida Skiff Challenge's mandatory media stop in Key Largo, FL. The Florida Skiff Challenge is a 1300 mile circumnavigational competition around the State of Florida to bring attention to the water quality and environmental issues in our great State. Five teams entered for 2021, four competed. Each team consists of two members in the boat and two members in the support road crew. Non stop, no sleep competition that can take 48 hours or more to complete. My regular viewers know that I fish out of a Key West 1720CC. This is the same hull that the Key West team runs in the Challenge, although their hull is much newer. I made the trip down to Key Largo to give support to the crew; to let them know that we are all watching and if possible give them the extra boost of fan support to help them along as they head north up to the Fernandina Beach finish line.
