Warlord Games- Caesar's Legions with Slings & Gladius!

I got a little too ahead of myself with videos recently. I've already painted over half this box and I hadn't even posted it! That's okay, we'll post it regardless, as it's still a nice kit for the fact it has slings included with the legionnaires! Some folks call it a kaiser blade, but I call it a sling blade. Or the Romans may have just called them slings and gladii. You don't see many kits with sling options in plastic, and if you didn't want to use them with the Romans, they're easy enough pieces to convert for a lot of the other plastic ancient kits out there. I've never liked the fact that this box is separate from the pilum armed Romans. It seems a silly distinction and an artificial way to make you buy more. On the other hand, the pilum box doesn't have slings included, so something to think about. This box is also a better deal than the actual SPQR units. While it may not have a unit card included, you get more troops, which is what you'd probably want anyways. These legionnaires are much more in line with the other plastic kits out there in comparison to their Imperial counterparts. I really do with Warlord would make an upgraded Imperial kit.
