Peter Cullen, the original voice of Optimus Prime fields questions from the audience during TFcon 2022. Peter Cullen talks about his role of Optimus Prime in both the original cartoon, the 1986 film Transformers The Movie, and the live-action Michael Bay directed Transformers films. He also discusses being cast as the voice for The Predator, what his early days were like, the first time he worked with Megatron voice actor Frank Welker, and what to do if your significant other ever confuses Megatron and Optimus Prime. Peter Cullen is s a Canadian voice actor. He is well-known as the voice of Optimus Prime in the original 1980's Transformers series often referred to as Transformers Generation One or "G1" for short. Peter Cullen also spent many years performing the voice of Eeyore in The New Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh, and many of the Winnie-the-Pooh film and television specials.
