2.Enlightenment and death of Buddha.............1.at the age of 35 years Siddhartha Gautam seated beneath the peepal tree on the outskirts of the town Gaya.it was in the rule of Magadha king Bimbisara.2.Sujata daughter of nearby farmer brought him a big bowl of rice boiled in milk 3.siddhartha ate some then bathed and again in the evening he sat below the peepal tree.4.He determined not to leave the place until the riddle of suffering solved.5.For 45 days he sat beneath the peepal tree and and hosts of Gods and spirits visited him in his meditation.6. Some spirit of inner voice made clear that awaiting great moments of enlightenment about to happen to him.7.Another spirit of inner voice made him the news of his father Suddhodhana jailed and his wife Yasodhara was seized by his envious cousin Devadatta..even then he did not moved from that place.8. Gautam was kept alone in his meditation.he was freed from all evils and attained enlightenment. 9.He attained supreme knowledge I.e."Great peace was within his own heart and he must seek it there"..this enlightenment is called Nirvana.Since then he is known as Buddha or Gautam Buddha 10.The fully enlightened Buddha then proceeded to Deer Park which was near Varanasi or the modern Saranath.11.Buddah 's parted 5 five deciples met him there. 12.He preached his first Sermon to his 5 deciples called " The Wheel Of Law"which is also known as Dharmachakra Parivarthana. 13.He roamed for 45 years preaching his sermons to the people throughout the Gangabelt.14.Buddha'name and his preachings became popular in the entire Gangabelt .15. Disciplined body of monks carried his preachings to the masses and followed Gautam Buddha wherever he goes.they16. are termed as Bhiksus or Bhiksus as in pali which literally means beggers.17.Buddha returned to his capital Kapilavastu and converted his entire family into his mission....his wife Yasodhara..his son Rahul..his father Suddhodhana and his envious cousin Devadatta and many other countries also..18. At the request of his step mother and aunt Krasa Gautami he allowed women into his mission as nuns.19. He build separate monestries for women nuns to stay 20.His main converts include Kasyapa a learned deciple of Buddha....Upali the barber...kings of kosala prasanjet... Magadha Bimbisara And Ajatasatru.21.The place Gaya became very famous the peepal tree named as Bodhikumara tree and Gaya is called Bodh Gaya 22.Buddha's preachings very popular and at his age of 80. Eighty years he journeyed toVaisali 'near place which was his home in his youth.23.Before his death he went toPavapuri where he stayed in the hut of Kunda a smith.24. Buddha ate the bad mushrooms and a piece of pork flesh hosted by Kunda 25.buddha got the disease of dysentery and he became very weak. 26.At the request of Gautam Buddha he was shifted to nearby town Kusinagara and laid him under the peepal tree . Buddha died in the night..his death is known as Parinirvana ..26.Budda's deciples and monks cremated his body and his ashes were shared by many people..tribes.. deciples and the king Ajatasatru of Magadha kingdom.27.Gautam Buddha died in 483 B C .named as Parinirvana.
