Attacking- Breaking
This video aims to get players making strong leads and moving onto the ball. Drill Instructions: 1) Player at front cone and the remaining players in a line at the transverse. 2) Player 1 drives to the cone. The front player (passer) makes a call left or right. 4) Player 1 reacts to this direction at a 45-degree angle. 5) All players to complete this action. Drill progression 1: 1) The passer adds a ball. The worker chooses their direction once at the cone. 2) Passer delivers a good pass at the 45 degree angle. Drill Progression 2: 1) Add passive defence to encourage players to dictate which way the player breaks. 2) Build this to full defence.
