Brunswick, GA...wow! This is one of the poorest and most dangerous cities in the state of Georgia. High in crime, homelessness, and having an over 32% poverty level, its one of the worst cities to live in within the United States. I saw a whole lot of abandoned / dilapidated homes, and very few people around. The economy is struggling as its one of the slowest recovering cities in Georgia after recent years, and there's no improvement in sight. Brunswick is also known as "The Shrimp Capital of The World". The Port of Brunswick is one of the largest US roll on / roll off points of trade, with automobiles being one of the biggest sources. You wouldn't think that by what I seen though.
