Corel PHOTO-PAINT Tip: Create Sun and Light effects

Color Dodge is a perfect Lens Object from the Object Manager Docker, when image-editing Photos. A perfect choice when you’re in a hurry, or image-editing photos for web or print. Simply open your photograph in Corel PHOTO-PAINT. Create a new empty Object by clicking on the New Object icon at the bottom of the Object Manager Docker. Next, select the Paint Tool from the Toolbox (P), and select a color in the photo either from the Color palette, or by using the Eyedropper tool (E), and selecting a color from the photo itself. With the Paint tool (and preferably a Wacom or any other pen tablet), paint those areas you’d like to enhance. When you have finished painting the areas and adding details, go to Merge mode in the Object manager Docker, and select Color Dodge. And use the Opacity slider if needed, to adjust the intensity. I used a golden, red-brown-ish color, and it made it look as if the sun had cast its light on the grass.
