Inktober 2024 - Drawing Hands & Faces

Today’s sketching session focuses on drawing hands - I am sketching figures and hands with ink for #inktober I have spent years focused on drawing faces but hands are the MOST challenging. Too big, too small, or just right. Embracing the process and making it work even if it is not "perfect", that is my goal. Character and uniqueness depends on the quirky imperfections. Get your pens and markers out and follow along. I am using regular Hilroy sketching paper, Signo pens, Tombow Dual Brush Pens and Artist's Loft markers. I am not following the prompts and have decided to just draw whatever I feel like. This week, for me, seems to be focused on drawing fashion type figures. I am having lots of fun and this is a great challenge. I can't wait to see all the drawings and look to see how I have improved and evolved in my sketching skills at the end of this month.
