These bass amp presets have the cabinet simulation switched off by default - this is best if playing direct through your amp. If you prefer the sound with the cabinet simulation (e.g. when recording direct) then you can switch this on using footswitch 1. Note- I typically run a compressor pedal (Cali76 Compact Bass) first in my signal chain prior to the HX Stomp, so I usually omit a compressor block in my presets. Also as I use my HX Stomp on my pedal board and mainly play it through an amp/cab, I try to set the volume of the signal coming out of the HX Stomp at a similar level to what I put into it for each preset so that I don’t massively increase the gain going to my amp. If you require more gain simply increase the volume of the output of the presets and re-save them. Shak.
