How to make red velvet cake (butter/margarine based recipe)

Ingredients (all must be at room temperature) 2 and half cups of cake flour 1 and half cups of sugar 130g of margarine or butter (unsalted) 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder 2 teaspoons of powder red food color 1 tsp of salt 1 teaspoon of baking soda 2 large eggs 1 cup of buttermilk 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil 1 tsp of vanilla flavor 1 tablespoon of white vinegar Procedure -Preheat oven -Grease pan with butter or margarine and -Line with parchment paper or dust with flour. -Cream Butter/Margarine with sugar for about 5 minutes -Sift cake flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt together - Reduce the speed of the mixer and change attachment from whisk/ball to paddle - Add vegetable oil, eggs, flavor and red food color to the sugar and butter mixture - Add butter milk, sifted cake flour mixture then buttermilk and end with the sifted cake flour mixture - Ensure all ingredients are properly incorporated - Pour batter into prepared pan and bake at 175°C for 30mins or till a skewer inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean. I made my cake flour and buttermilk and here's how 👇👇 For cake flour, Measure 1 cup of all purpose of flour and take our 3 tablespoons, replace with 3 tablespoons of corn flour then sift. Baking with this will give you a lighter cake. For buttermilk, Pour 1 tablespoon of white vinegar in a cup and fill up with milk, cover and then leave to rest for some minutes. Thank you.
