Stop Your Siphon - Easy Fix ✅

Featured here is an 8 Plant PotPro Kit in a 4x4 space. We are using a 5 Gal bucket as the reservoir, and the Bubbler is an Open Flow unit (completely gutted).⁠ ⁠ As you see we have good even flow throughout the system, you can always adjust the tubing and/or clips in each location to find the best position for distribution in the cap.⁠ ⁠ Then you see us unplug the pump and the flow slowing but continuing with a typical siphon issue, this question and/or problem comes up for kits as well as larger systems using pumps that sit inside of the reservoir. And while there is more than one way to slice a pie, we have always found this quick and easy fix to be a good one.⁠ ⁠ 🔌 While still unplugged and siphoning we take a Hole Puncher and place a hole at the top of the reservoir facing inwards so the hole is always above the water line and will spray back inside alleviating any potential mess. The siphon/seal is now broken.⁠ ⁠ And as you see we plug it back in, water sprays out of the hole, and we still have the same water distribution throughout the system.
