Alright I have gotten the Nelson Rigg Hurricane Dry Saddlebags installed with a bit of extra work. The Givi racks had to be stripped of bottom mounting buttons and the Monokey latch point. I then had to cut slots in the Hurricanes back pad to allow the straps to engage the racks without having the pad roll up and causing a large bump behind each end. With the slots cut the pad remains flat and the saddlebags fit much better and much more snug to the rack. I then loaded both up with 20-25 pounds of tools and camping gear to take for about an hour ride on road and a few hours off road down some sugar sand trails and slightly more rough trails. I was limited as I have not switched wheel and tires over yet to the Michelin Anakee’s. However the Road 5’s did well as they were not intended for this type of surfaces. At the mid way point I stopped and checked the bags for tension, as well as placement. All remained as I installed them.
