The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday intensified its crackdown on the Khalistani network in Punjab. In the raids conducted as part of the ongoing investigation of the terrorist network, 14 locations are being searched in Monga, Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar and other areas. The NIA has taken major action in the case of the attack on the Indian High Commission in London last year. Important developments have come to light in the NIA investigation of the London attack. Earlier on September 5, the agency filed a chargesheet against Afghan-origin UK citizen Inderpal Singh Gaba.
