THIS IS THE MERCEDES V6 TURBO DIESEL 2005 TO CURRENT. CRANKS AND DOES NOT START - BLACK DEATH EXPLAINED. ALL FUEL PRESSURE AND INJECTOR ISSUES EXPLAINED! Do not attempt to do any of this work if you're not a qualified technician. This video is for informational purposes only. Almost no tools needed for quick diagnosis. Flat head and small sockets to remove side air filter boxes. Gloves and your fingers to gently remove Fuel Return Line Couplers. Please try to have a basic scanner to read HIGH PRESSURE SIDE - Fuel Pressure! 'START UP PRESSURE' SHOULD BE AROUND 3900-4200 PSI. There's a high pressure rail sensor so use the scanner. You do not need a mechanical gauge. Once running idle pressure can be 2500 or so and up (psi) These systems can max out at 23,000 PSI - so do not open fuel rail on pressure side.
