HOW TO: Make a MONSTER TOOLS POT with POLYMER CLAY! Fun and easy tutorial!

I'm late, I'm late! No one can set their watch by me! Ok so this took me longer to edit, but wow did I manage it faster than my usual time! This was a real fun one for me and it's great to finally have a video worth uploading, I have had a tricky week full of 'that's rubbish' But here we are. The new and improved Monster Tools Pot. The coolest thing you can make for yourself and personal to your own tools! Join this channel to get access to perks:    / @gailjonespolymerclay   Video Features -How to make a tools pot -How to create hooks and racks -How to decorate with gold leaf and alcohol inks -The final mica powder touches Tools: -Glass jar -Black polymer clay -Gold leaf, alcohol inks (I used aqua marine) -Dotting tool, craft knife, tissue blade, tile to bake on Baking Polymer Clay: it's often in Celsius not Fahrenheit, which is why I don't always quote times & temperatures. I recommend using Polymer Clay packet instructions. However a good tip is to bake no higher than 100 degrees Celsius. It's better to bake at a lower temperature for longer, than higher for shorter. Larger clay items need longer- always check after 10 mins- sometimes things fall over in the oven & can be rescued at this point. Watch for burning! Especially white as it's quick to burn (don't know why...) and can turn yellow! Once out of the oven wait for it to cool before thinking it's baked- if it feels soft to touch, you can poke a fingernail in it or a fingerprint, back in the oven it goes! Electric ovens work better as the temperature is even, gas oven temperatures fluctuate do not keep a steady temp for baking polymer clay.
