Brownian motion. Demonstration of the incessant jiggling of tiny particles due to them being constantly shoved by the impact of invisible water molecules whizzing around randomly at high speed. These particles are the tiny fat globules in very dilute milk. it's much easier to see a result with this than by using Robert Brown's original pollen granules, suspended in water. What most sources don't tell you is that you need to explode the pollen and look at the tiny particles that are released. Whole pollen granules are way too large and heavy to see the effect. I've tried it. Equipment : Brunel SP22 microscope. Sony Alpha 6000 camera attached via an adapter. 40x objective, 10x eyepiece. The actual magnification depends how big a screen you're viewing it on.
