Most garage and basement shops are not large and wall space is absolutely premium. Why would we want to waste it simply putting sheet goods along it? So, I designed a sheet good storage system that hangs from the ceiling and folds down to allow easy access to the sheets and get them up out of the way when you want to work. I am not a structural engineer or a licensed professional engineer. This project could be hazardous if designed and constructed improperly. Sheet goods are heavy and suspending them above an active work area poses potential hazards to anybody beneath them (serious injury, property damage, and/or death) if the system is designed or constructed improperly. These videos are only meant to serve as a documentation of what I did and for entertainment.
